We are delighted to invite you to “The 12th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (CMAPSEEC)”, which will take place from October 17 to 19, 2024, in the beautiful city of Izmir, Türkiye. This event will be hosted by the Dokuz Eylül University (Izmir), jointly organized by Gaziantep University and Lokman Hekim University in collaboration with the Association for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (AMAPSEEC). The topic of the conference will be "Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Research from Biodiversity to Bioactivity".

The conference continues the tradition of bringing together researchers, industry experts, and practitioners from around the world to discuss the latest advances, challenges, and opportunities in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPS). The event will provide a unique platform for networking, sharing knowledge, and exploring collaborations.

Participants can look forward to a diverse scientific program that includes invited lectures, oral presentations, and poster sessions, all focusing on various aspects of MAPs, including:

  • Phytochemistry and pharmacology

  • Plant biotechnology and breeding

  • Cultivation and sustainable use

  • Quality control and standardization

  • Ethnobotany and traditional knowledge
